About the Role

National Contracting Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System for a region, area, or large project, encompassing QC plans, laboratory accreditation, and QC/QA project management.

Role Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer will exercise discretion and judgment in analyzing and interpreting information to provide reasoned recommendations. Key responsibilities include:

Evaluating the performance of technicians and inspectors.
Managing vendor performance, including services from third-party engineering firms.
Managing QC/QA projects by analyzing data and recommending courses of action.
Advising projects by interpreting internal and owner/agency requirements and preparing quality control plans.
Implementing and monitoring overall installation responsibility and workmanship in line with specifications and codes.
Controlling all project documents and ensuring relevant check sheets are signed and maintained.
Supervising internal audits at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
Participating in and promoting company safety procedures, including compliance with OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations.
Controlling inspection and checking for all quality-related procedures on site, ensuring activities align with approved method statements and inspection test plans.
Managing communication with the consultant's representative and Site in-charge regarding inspections and quality issues, including the closure of Non-Compliance Reports.
Overseeing method statements for activities, including risk assessment, job safety environmental analysis, Inspection Test Plan, and Checklists based on project specifications.
