About the Role

Vives Compound is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recreation Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to enhancing the resident experience through comprehensive recreational programming and facility management within our residential community.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Recreation Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and operational management of all recreational, sports, social, and community events within the compound. This role aims to elevate residents' quality of life, maximize the utilization of recreational facilities, and increase overall resident satisfaction. The manager ensures all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual recreation and events calendar.
• Manage the daily operations of all recreational facilities.
• Plan and organize sports, social, cultural, family, and seasonal events.
• Supervise recreation coordinators, lifeguards, fitness staff, and event personnel.
• Prepare and manage the department's annual budget.
• Coordinate with external vendors, entertainers, and service providers.
• Design engaging programs for children, adults, and families.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and risk management standards.
• Monitor residents' satisfaction and implement service improvements.
• Prepare monthly operational and performance reports.
• Promote events through internal communication channels, social media, newsletters, and mobile applications.
• Coordinate with Security, Maintenance, Marketing, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
• Ensure recreational facilities are maintained, clean, and fully operational.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should bring 5 to 10 years of professional experience in recreation management, event planning, or a related field. This role requires a strong background in overseeing recreational operations and staff within a community-focused environment.
