The Opportunity

MedTec Ascent MEA is seeking a Regional Market Access Manager GCC & Levant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to leading market entry initiatives, ensuring regulatory alignment, and developing effective reimbursement strategies for medical technologies across the designated regions. The position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Purpose

The Regional Market Access Manager will drive the successful introduction and penetration of medical technologies into the GCC and Levant markets. This involves navigating complex regulatory landscapes and aligning product value propositions with diverse public and private reimbursement frameworks to ensure broad market adoption and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute localized go-to-market and market penetration strategies across GCC and Levant markets.
• Navigate health authority approvals, including FDAs, MOHAP, and Levant Ministries of Health, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Align product value propositions with public and private reimbursement frameworks to secure market access.
• Collaborate with regional distributors to streamline product registration processes, enhance tender readiness, and facilitate commercial entry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), health authorities, and procurement heads.
• Conduct market intelligence activities, including mapping competitive landscapes, analyzing pricing structures, and understanding tender dynamics to optimize commercial positioning.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in market access, regulatory affairs, or a related commercial role within the medical technology or healthtech sector.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement market entry and reimbursement strategies in the GCC and Levant regions.
• Proven experience in engaging with health authorities, distributors, and key stakeholders.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on expanding the reach of medical technologies across the Middle East & Africa.
