The Role of Reporting Manager

AECOM is seeking a Reporting Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing project reporting and performance monitoring, managing data and dashboards, and ensuring accurate schedule and cost reporting. The manager will also be responsible for executive and client reporting, risk and change reporting, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain consistent communication and information flow across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project reporting frameworks, templates, and governance processes.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive-level project performance reports, consolidating information from various teams.
• Monitor project performance against approved baselines, milestones, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Create and maintain management dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools, developing project KPI scorecards.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and performance gaps, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Support project controls and planning teams in reporting schedule progress and forecast completion dates.
• Monitor cost performance, budget utilization, and expenditure trends, producing earned value reports and schedule performance metrics.
• Prepare presentations and executive summaries for senior management and client stakeholders, delivering concise reports on project health, risks, and achievements.
• Coordinate reporting requirements with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain project risk and issue dashboards, tracking key risks, mitigation actions, change requests, and the impact of project changes.
• Liaise with project managers, planners, cost engineers, commercial teams, and functional leads to facilitate reporting meetings and performance reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant reporting or project management role.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks.
• Proficiency in creating and managing dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends, issues, and performance gaps from project data.
• Experience in preparing executive-level reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Understanding of project controls, schedule progress, cost performance, and earned value reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment, reinforcing the company's commitment to a secure and trustworthy recruitment process.
