SAP BW & Analytics Services Team Lead

About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking an SAP BW & Analytics Services Team Lead to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading the delivery and execution of enterprise data and analytics solutions, overseeing BI, analytics, and data infrastructure teams to provide accurate, integrated insights and align data initiatives with business objectives. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and objectives.
• Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide data initiatives, integrating BI, analytics, and data infrastructure functions.
• Promote a data-driven culture by encouraging the use of analytics in decision-making across business units.
• Oversee the design, development, and delivery of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Guide the development of advanced analytics models and ensure their alignment with business needs.
• Ensure robust architecture and governance of data warehouses and data lakes to support scalable and secure data operations.
• Act as the primary liaison between the data & analytics function and business stakeholders to align initiatives with business priorities.
• Translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language to support executive decision-making.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities.
• Foster innovation by encouraging experimentation with new data methodologies, tools, and platforms.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Monitor data quality across systems and lead initiatives to improve data accuracy and reliability.

• Ensure job descriptions are available and deployed for all roles.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business.
• Promote and fully utilize automated systems to spread their culture within the organization.

Experience Required

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
