About Dr Scent SA and the Role

Dr Scent SA is undergoing a strategic restructuring and seeks a Sales & Operations Manager to lead its retail and operational transformation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a dynamic leader capable of driving significant change and growth within the luxury market.

Role Overview

The Sales & Operations Manager will be a proactive leader responsible for challenging existing practices, revitalizing the retail footprint, and enhancing competitive positioning. This role requires a combination of market insight and robust operational execution to rebuild team culture, modernize store operations, and achieve consistent, scalable revenue growth in a rapidly evolving luxury market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute annual sales strategies aligned with company targets, driving revenue across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
Establish sales KPIs, targets, and incentive schemes, monitoring performance metrics such as sell-through, Average Transaction Value (ATV), conversion rates, and footfall.
Identify and pursue expansion opportunities, including new stores, kiosks, distributors, and export markets.
Oversee daily retail operations across all branches, ensuring Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance and operational consistency.
Optimize store productivity, focusing on sales per square meter and staffing ratios, and implement best practices for customer journey and service excellence.
Conduct regular store audits and performance reviews.
Manage inventory and supply chain oversight to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce stock aging, and minimize shrinkage and discrepancies.
Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams on demand forecasting and replenishment cycles.
Rebuild and motivate the sales team, fostering a high-performance, competitive, and target-driven mindset.
Identify performance gaps and provide coaching to Fragrance Advisors and Store Leads in advanced luxury sales techniques.
Work closely with the Finance Team to review monthly store sales performance, margins, and operational expenses.
Control store-level operational costs (OPEX), including staff scheduling, overtime, store maintenance, and local expenses, to maximize retail profitability.
Provide accurate daily/weekly sales data, forecasts, and field insights to support budget preparation and coordinate with the Accountant on inventory valuation and shrinkage costs.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong market acumen combined with a proven ability to execute aggressive operational strategies. This role requires a leader who can drive cultural change within a sales team and modernize retail practices effectively.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales and operations management, preferably within the luxury retail sector. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
