About the Role

Role Purpose

The Security Managed Services Specialist will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing cybersecurity engineering functions. This role focuses on ensuring robust protection across various security domains, implementing effective security measures, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements to safeguard sensitive data and systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of cybersecurity engineering functions, ensuring protection across network security, endpoint security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and vulnerability management.
• Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, technical oversight, and mentorship.
• Design and implement effective security measures to protect sensitive data and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Drive cyber transformation initiatives aimed at improving the security posture of the organization.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident response efforts and ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities and risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into operational processes and new technology deployments.
• Present progress reports and operational status to clients, ensuring alignment with security objectives and business goals.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of critical services and infrastructure.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and proactively recommend improvements.
• Lead or participate in audits, security reviews, and regulatory compliance efforts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's / Higher Diploma.
• 0-1 years of professional experience.
