About Unifonic and the Role

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis.

The Compliance Function

The Compliance team at Unifonic is responsible for managing and enhancing the company's overall Compliance function. This involves focusing on all compliance affairs to proactively identify potential issues and develop practical solutions for the business. The Senior Compliance Specialist will play a key role in ensuring regulatory adherence and maintaining robust compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
  • Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
  • Maintain open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory communications and their impact.
  • Organize and conduct regular training sessions for employees on key regulatory changes and updates.
  • Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
  • Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
  • Maintain internal regulatory compliance by communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, and training stakeholders.
  • Manage applications for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance recordkeeping system.
  • Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
  • Stay informed about compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
  • Identify roadblocks and propose process improvements within compliance workflows.
  • Maintain a compliance communication register and related documentation.
  • Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory compliance audit discoveries and violations.
  • Remediate regulatory audits, conduct periodic reviews, and compile gaps and action plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a compliance analyst or specialist within an enterprise-level organization.
  • Strong experience in both reviewing and drafting policies and documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with international standards and local regulatory requirements related to telecommunications, data protection, and data localization.

  • Ability to effectively plan, manage, and complete projects in line with stakeholder needs, expectations, and organizational strategic objectives.
  • Diligent attention to detail and advanced analytical abilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a team focused on proactive compliance management for an AI-native customer experience platform.
