The Role of Senior Compliance Specialist

Unifonic is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization adheres to regulatory standards and maintains robust compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
• Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
• Maintain and coordinate open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory communication and impact.
• Organize regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes and updates effectively.
• Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
• Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Maintain internal regulatory compliance by communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, and training stakeholders.
• Apply for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and maintain a compliance recordkeeping system.
• Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
• Stay updated with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
• Identify roadblocks and propose process improvements.
• Maintain a compliance communication register and documentation.
• Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory compliance audit discoveries and compliance violations.
• Remediate regulatory audits, conduct periodic reviews, and compile gaps and action plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant compliance role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to effectively plan, manage, and complete projects in line with stakeholder needs and organizational strategic objectives.
• Diligent attention to detail and advanced analytical abilities.
