About the Role

Egis is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to join a major project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on overseeing cost control activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial performance for large-scale infrastructure and construction projects. The position involves managing cost, reviewing designs, and controlling budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Conduct detailed cost analyses and provide regular cost performance reports to stakeholders.
• Provide cost performance analysis, interpretation, and forecasting against budgets.
• Maintain the Program and Project Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and manage changes with version control.
• Support risk assessments and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize financial impacts.
• Create and update financial models to forecast project costs and cash flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet budget constraints.
• Implement and maintain cost control systems to track project expenses and variances.
• Provide expert advice on cost-related matters to project managers and senior leadership.
• Stay current with local regulations and industry best practices in cost engineering.
• Provide budget and cost performance evaluation, interpretation, and support business planning efforts.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost control.
• Demonstrated experience leading cost control teams.
• Proven ability to manage the cost function at a departmental level.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support recruitment efforts by identifying, interviewing, and deploying cost control staff into the project team.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position within a project-focused environment.
