Senior Financial Specialist

About the Role

360Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing financial and accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports and records. The specialist will ensure compliance with approved financial and accounting regulations and bylaws within the non-profit sector in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the organization's financial efficiency, transparency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the annual operational budget, program budgets, and grant budgets, monitoring their implementation and analyzing deviations.
• Approve and review disbursement operations, trusts, and advances in accordance with financial regulations and approval authorities.
• Manage bank accounts and cash flow, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for executive management, the financial committee, and the board of directors, as well as disbursement reports for donors and sponsors.
• Coordinate with external accounting and auditing firms for monthly and annual closings and the preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial requirements of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development and the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
• Develop financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
• Manage grants and sponsorships, monitor financial allocations for programs and projects, and prepare disbursement and budget reports for supporting entities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of accounting standards for non-profit organizations.
• Experience in preparing budgets and financial reports.
• High accuracy and commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
• Previous experience in the non-profit sector or grant management.
• Experience in preparing reports for donors and sponsors.
• Proficiency in budget preparation, expense and revenue analysis, financial reports, and financial tools such as Pivot Tables.
• Proficiency in using cloud-based accounting systems like Qoyod.
• Experience with electronic banking platforms, including managing payments and transfers, monitoring accounts, and performing bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with ZATCA portal, VAT requirements, and e-invoicing (Fatoorah).
• Knowledge of Etimad platform procedures for financial claims, contracts, and government payments.
• Familiarity with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development platform requirements for disclosure, financial reporting, and compliance for civil associations.
• Ability to prepare financial reports, correspondence, and presentations.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
