About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of the company's production units through expert mechanical maintenance.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanic plays a vital role in upholding the highest standards of mechanical integrity across all production units. This involves a proactive approach to maintenance, meticulous attention to equipment performance, and strict adherence to safety protocols to support continuous and efficient operations within the company's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits, reporting any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
• Identify the tools and equipment required for maintenance, assess their readiness, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure proper disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Senior Mechanic will contribute to the operational excellence of Yamama Cement Company's facilities, ensuring robust and reliable mechanical systems.
