The Role

Btranz is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS DBA & OCI Consultant for an immediate contract opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on leading critical system upgrades, patching operations, and cloud migrations. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead upgrades of Oracle EBS from version *** to the latest ***, and Oracle Database from 11g to 19c.
• Manage ADOP patching cycles, cloning procedures, cutover activities, and security updates for Oracle EBS.
• Deploy and provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including IAM/SSO integrations.
• Implement OCI security measures, encompassing Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Vault services, and encryption protocols.
• Handle RMAN backup and recovery operations, as well as Linux RPM package management.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in Oracle EBS administration, specifically with versions ***, and database administration for DB 11g/19c.
• Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in ADOP patching, cloning, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and security implementation within Oracle environments.
• Experience with RMAN backup and recovery procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups.
• Knowledge of Oracle middleware technologies.
• Background in enterprise production support.
