Senior Passive Fire Protection Engineer

About the Role

Jotun Saudia Co. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Passive Fire Protection Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and reports directly to the Infrastructure Manager. The primary responsibility involves providing quality fire engineering support for assigned projects to facilitate sales.

Role Overview

The Senior Passive Fire Protection Engineer will manage and prepare fire engineering support independently for various projects. Certain project types will undergo quality checks by a Senior Engineer or the Fire Engineering Service Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring technical and regulatory compliance for Jotun's fire protection products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform project take-off and estimation for assigned Steelmaster and Jotachar enquiry projects daily, covering both hydrocarbon and cellulosic projects.
• Deliver timely fire engineering services of required quality for assigned cellulosic and hydrocarbon projects to sales and external customers.
• Coordinate with the Global Fire Engineering Service team regarding technical specifications for Steelmaster and Jotachar products, ensuring compliance within the Jotun sales network.
• Assist sales in technical discussions to address customer needs and position Jotun as a preferred supplier.
• Support sales account managers in winning projects by providing prompt and accurate analysis of projects and competition, and assisting in customer discussions.
• Prepare Plan Swift marked-up drawings as required by projects or customers, applying structural and fire engineering principles.
