About Al-Hamra Kuwait Company

Al-Hamra Kuwait Company is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for strengthening the commercial function across active construction projects in the region, ensuring financial control and accuracy.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of the commercial function, responsible for ensuring financial control and accuracy across active construction projects. This hands-on role requires a proactive approach to managing all aspects of quantities, subcontractor accounts, and cost control directly on site, contributing significantly to project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and interim payment applications (IPAs).
• Manage subcontractor accounts, including payments, variations, back-charges, and final accounts.
• Track subcontractor presence, progress, and dues on site with full visibility.
• Evaluate variation orders and support claims preparation processes.
• Coordinate with the Commercial & Contracts team on cost reports and budget monitoring.
• Ensure accurate documentation and records for all commercial transactions.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a proven track record in the construction sector. A comprehensive understanding of commercial processes, contract administration, and on-site cost management is essential for this role. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing complex financial aspects of projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working on active construction projects. The position requires a hands-on approach to site-based commercial management and close coordination with project teams.
