AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Road Engineer Road and Highway to join its professional team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the successful delivery of major road and highway projects within the region.

Role Summary

The Senior Road Engineer will lead critical road supervision activities, ensuring stringent engineering compliance and providing essential technical expertise for significant road and highway infrastructure developments. This role involves overseeing various stages of project execution to maintain high standards of quality and adherence to all specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all aspects of road construction and pavement works.
Review and approve design documents, shop drawings, and method statements to ensure project integrity.
Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities throughout project lifecycles.
Resolve technical challenges and ensure strict adherence to all project specifications and standards.
Monitor the performance and output of asphalt plants, crushing plants, and field testing laboratories.
Ensure the timely execution of works in accordance with established project schedules and quality standards.
Conduct thorough site inspections and provide comprehensive engineering recommendations.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Senior Road Engineer position are expected to possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in road and highway projects. This experience should demonstrate a proven capability to lead supervision activities and manage the technical aspects of large-scale infrastructure developments.

Work Setting
