The Service Technician Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a full-time Service Technician to join its team in Riyadh. This role is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of experience who are prepared to provide essential support for building systems and equipment.

Role Summary

The Service Technician plays a fundamental role in ensuring the operational efficiency of building systems. This position involves providing basic support for the installation, routine maintenance, and necessary repairs of various building systems and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver work output in adherence to established broad frameworks and standards, contributing to specific operational targets.
• Clearly explain facts, operational practices, and company policies to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues and problems within existing systems and processes, implementing minor modifications as required.
• Address problems and issues that typically fall within a single job area or discipline, operating within a well-defined scope.
• Operate as an individual contributor, without direct responsibility for leading or managing other personnel.
• Apply specialized knowledge within a domestic scope, relevant to locations within the country or culturally similar neighboring regions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant service or technical role.
• Possession of specialized knowledge in specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations areas.
