About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Shift Leader to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a 2-month contract position, specifically open to Saudi nationals. The role involves overseeing the maintenance and operational aspects of tools, appliances, and equipment, while also supporting management in various employee-related functions.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment, recommending replacements as needed.
Calibrate all controls, gauges, and meters, and identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies, maintaining inventory and purchase order logs.
Inspect tools, equipment, or machines and utilize computers for work-related information.
Operate power lifts and complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems, and assist in developing disaster response protocols.
Respond to and attend to guest repair requests promptly.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Ensure adherence to company and safety/security policies, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and welcome guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and foster positive working relationships with colleagues.
Support the team in achieving common goals, respond appropriately to employee concerns, and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
Communicate professionally, visually inspect equipment, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, grasping, standing, sitting, walking, and moving on stairs/ramps.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in identifying, locating, and operating shut-off valves.
Ability to use computers for work-related information.
Experience operating power lifts.
Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
