About TawanTech and the Role

TawanTech is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect - Banking Domain to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience and involves translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions within large enterprise environments.

Role Purpose and Technical Focus

The Solution Architect will play a critical role, leveraging a strong background in banking and financial services, coupled with extensive exposure to the Gulf region. The position demands deep expertise in enterprise architecture, integration, cloud, and middleware technologies. Collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders is central to ensuring solutions meet stringent security, scalability, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale banking and financial systems.
• Define high-level and detailed architecture models covering application, integration, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Lead architecture decisions for core banking, payments, digital channels, APIs, and integration platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Drive and govern API-led and microservices-based architectures.
• Oversee solution delivery across the full SDLC, ensuring quality, timelines, and architectural compliance.
• Support and guide development, DevOps, and operations teams during implementation.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance, and stakeholder presentations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of proven experience in solution architecture, specifically within the banking and financial services domain.
• Proven experience working in the Gulf region (KSA / GCC).
• Strong understanding of enterprise-level distributed systems.
• Experience working with multi-tier, high-availability, and mission-critical systems.

Skills and Work Environment

The role requires excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. The Solution Architect will work within Agile / SAFe environments, supporting multiple squads and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative approach to solution delivery.
