About the Role

Nesma & Partners Contracting Co. Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading electrical design solutions for construction projects, focusing on quality and safety standards. The role requires collaboration with engineering and design teams on various projects.

Role Context and Impact

This position involves both technical design and strategic leadership. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will guide junior engineers and work with cross-functional teams to ensure project execution. The role supports continuous learning and professional development, offering opportunities for career growth and potential movement into managerial positions. The engineer will integrate technologies into designs to ensure efficiency and sustainability across diverse projects.

Responsibilities

Formulate and update design plans to meet project scope, specifications, and engineering standards.
Utilize digital workflows and BIM/VDC tools to enhance design quality, precision, and proposals.
Evaluate schematic designs and construction drawings for alignment with project visions, addressing design challenges and modifications.
Advocate for sustainable practices and durable material selection to minimize environmental impact and maintenance costs.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, as well as Quality Assurance teams, to conduct QA/QC checks and ensure integration.
Review design deliverables across project phases against specifications and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to electrical design solutions for construction projects.
Experience with digital workflows and BIM/VDC tools is preferred.
