Sterilization Technician

About the Role

Elegaci is seeking a Sterilization Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring the proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and handling of medical and dental instruments in strict compliance with established infection control standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize medical and dental instruments according to protocol.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, ensuring proper function.
• Adhere to all infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain accurate, detailed sterilization records.
• Inspect and store sterilized instruments appropriately to prevent contamination.
• Ensure sterilization areas are consistently clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions and any sterilization issues promptly to management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant diploma or qualification in sterilization or a related healthcare field is required.
• Previous experience (0-1 year) in a medical or dental facility is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration, as applicable.

Location and Work Type

This position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is offered on a full-time basis. The role requires on-site presence to manage sterilization processes effectively.
