About the Role

LVMH is seeking a dedicated Stockist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining efficient store operations and supporting the Store Manager. The Stockist plays a crucial part in managing merchandise flow, organizing the stockroom, and ensuring accurate inventory control to facilitate outstanding customer service and product availability. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

The Stockist works in close partnership with the store team to manage all aspects of stock operations. This includes supporting the Store Manager with shipping and receiving merchandise, maintaining stockroom organization, and participating in the replenishment process. The role is critical for ensuring product placement and contributing to an efficient retail environment.

Inventory Management and Control

• Receive and accurately count stock items, recording data using computer systems.
• Maintain precise records of stock and conduct periodic stock counts for inventory control.
• Verify inventory computations against physical counts, investigating and adjusting discrepancies or errors.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and manage shrink rates in line with company standards.
• Codify stock items using identification tags, numbers, lists, or other labeling equipment to enhance team accessibility.

Logistics and Operational Support

• Manage all shipments, transfers, and consignments.
• Pack and unpack items for stocking on shelves in stockrooms, adhering to company policy.
• Coordinate with main couriers for incoming stock pickups and deliveries to designated locations.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports related to inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
• Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess and order necessary supplies.

Stock Maintenance and Quality Assurance

• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner within warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including organizing monthly deep cleaning of the warehouse.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Dispose of damaged or defective items or arrange for their return to vendors.
• Deal with production teams in managing defective and damaged items.
• Ensure the correct use of the system for processing repairs and liaise with local suppliers to guarantee efficient service.
• Recommend the disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
• Maintain and contribute to the Visual Merchandising (VM) stock, communicating VM arrivals and any unused props/mannequins.
• Ensure optimum after-sale service, accuracy, and integrity.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in stock management, inventory control, or a similar operational role.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for data recording and inventory management.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
