The Role of Store Manager

Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle is seeking a Store Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing and developing store teams, and ensuring operational compliance. The Store Manager will maximize profitability, maintain brand and company image, and deliver an excellent customer experience. This position holds full accountability for the daily operations of the store and its workforce, aligning with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the consistent delivery of high levels of customer service by all store team members.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Monitor brand performance, review stock levels, and track best-selling and slow-moving items to inform action plans for sales growth.
• Oversee compliance of subordinates with company policies, procedures, and standards, including financial management, personnel practices, security, sales, and record-keeping.
• Coach, train, and mentor store teams to improve customer service through enhanced brand/product knowledge and retail understanding.
• Ensure adherence to all Company Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies, escalating concerns to the Excellence and Compliance team promptly.
• Plan, organize, and execute in-store processes, including cash intake, cash handling, stockroom management, and stock-take administration.
• Provide analytical feedback to the Operations, Buying, and Planning Departments regarding products, ranging, pricing, competitive activities, and market opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily store operations and lead a team.
• Strong understanding of retail principles and customer service best practices.
