Role Overview

The Supervisor Human Resources assists in the oversight and resolution of employee relations issues, providing essential support to management and the leadership team. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring that all hiring and recruitment processes adhere to local, state, federal laws, and company policies. The supervisor acts as a primary point of contact for inquiries regarding HR programs and policies, maintaining clear communication across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track employee relations issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
• Support management and the leadership team in addressing and resolving Human Resources concerns.
• Oversee hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company standards.
• Keep Human Resources management informed of employee relations issues.
• Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
• Disseminate information on employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies.
• Review and maintain accurate employee records and files, including interview documentation.
• Assist with the logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
• Handle phone calls and record messages efficiently.
• Support management in various employee lifecycle activities, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.

Required Qualifications

• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None specified.

Work Environment and General Expectations

This is a full-time position requiring adherence to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, including reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions. The role demands strict confidentiality of proprietary information and professional communication, including appropriate telephone etiquette. The Supervisor Human Resources is expected to foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and effectively address employee concerns. Tasks may involve utilizing computers and/or point of sale systems for information entry and retrieval, and performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned by Supervisors.
