About the Role

Gathern is seeking a dedicated Systems Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position is central to managing and optimizing our financial data and systems infrastructure, ensuring robust and integrated financial operations.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The Systems Accountant will serve as the owner of the finance data and systems layer. This role involves mapping and controlling all automated financial pipelines from the core platform, Metabase, and various SaaS applications into Microsoft Dynamics. A primary objective is to lead finance system implementations from end to end, while also enforcing stringent system controls and segregation of duties. The role aims for a 48-hour corrective action timeframe and maintaining ** data integrity across all financial data sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Map, monitor, and maintain automated financial data pipelines across the core platform, Metabase, Microsoft Dynamics, and supporting SaaS applications (procurement, payroll, expense-management tools).
• Act as the Finance Project Lead for new software, modules, and system upgrades, including defining business requirements, building future-state process maps, and leading cross-departmental rollouts.
• Design and execute rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and data-migration protocols, ensuring zero data loss or misalignment during deployments and schema changes.
• Serve as super-user and administrator of Microsoft Dynamics and peripheral finance applications; design and enforce system controls, user-access mapping, and strict Segregation of Duties (SoD).
• Investigate and resolve data-sync failures, transaction-processing errors, and ledger mismatches, taking corrective action within 48 hours and proactively automating manual workarounds.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to ensure Metabase data structures accurately reflect accounting logic and the Chart of Accounts, maintaining ** integrity across all data sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP), or financial data management.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience supporting finance system integrations and data validation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a comparable enterprise resource planning system.
• Experience developing financial reports, dashboards, and data quality controls.
• Experience supporting finance automation and digital transformation initiatives.
