About the Role of Technical Manager

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Technical Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading technical and design coordination activities throughout the construction phase of projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in technical management or design review, particularly on large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary technical and design-coordination activities throughout construction.
Manage shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals, design changes, and technical approvals.
Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, infrastructure, landscape, and specialist-design interfaces.
Review constructability, value-engineering proposals, and alternative technical solutions.
Monitor design deliverables and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Coordinate with designers, contractors, authorities, vendors, and the supervision team.
Maintain technical-risk, design-change, RFI, and approval registers.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of technical-management, design-review, or technical-office experience.
Proven experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Strong multidisciplinary coordination and constructability-review experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination, and document-management systems.
Strong knowledge of Saudi codes, authority requirements, and international standards.
Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on significant construction projects. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including designers, contractors, and authorities, within a dynamic project environment.
