Technical Services Specialist

About the Role

Abbott is seeking a Technical Services Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position within Core Diagnostics, where the specialist will operate as an experienced individual contributor, applying specialized knowledge in Medical Device Field Service.

Role Overview

The Technical Services Specialist works under limited supervision, focusing on the technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements. This role requires adherence to specific customer specifications and involves direct interaction with customers and internal teams to ensure optimal product performance and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technical problems and issues related to medical devices.
• Determine technical solutions in alignment with product and customer specifications.
• Recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solutions.
• Assess product needs based on customer specifications.
• Conduct technical training and product briefings for customers, vendors, and company representatives.
• Act as a local on-site representative to customer organization members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Possession of a Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) License.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess well-developed skills in the technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements. The ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and determine effective solutions is essential for this role.
