About the Opportunity

Placemaker is seeking a Trade Marketing Specialist on behalf of a leading FMCG business in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and focuses on overseeing commercial activities within the market.

Role Purpose

The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day trade and commercial execution, ensuring product availability, visibility, and performance across various sales channels. The role requires a strong commercial focus to drive market presence and resolve operational challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily trade and commercial execution to ensure products are available, visible, and performing across multiple sales channels.
• Collaborate closely with distributor sales teams to drive execution, address issues, and ensure follow-through on agreed actions.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify gaps in product availability, cold stock, visibility, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Support the implementation of trade marketing campaigns, activations, merchandising, and in-store initiatives.
• Monitor sales, distribution, and market performance, utilizing data and competitor insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders, taking full ownership of issues from identification to resolution.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial mindset and a relentless follow-up mentality. This role requires confidence in building effective relationships, solving problems proactively, and taking full ownership of market outcomes.

Required Experience and Location
