About the Accountant Role

China State Construction ******* LTD(KSA) is seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of professional experience, offering a salary range of SAR 7,500 to SAR 11,250 per month. The role involves critical financial support for our project operations.

Role Overview

The Accountant will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies at the project site level. This position requires close coordination with various internal teams and external parties to maintain smooth financial operations and support project continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify suppliers' invoices and manage the payment approval process for suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Maintain accurate log sheets for invoices and the Assets list.
• Monitor site expenses and control the site's petty cash, prioritizing cash allocation based on site needs.
• Prepare timely and accurate weekly supplier payment forecasts to facilitate effective cash planning and coordination with the finance and project teams.
• Collaborate with site procurement and contracts teams to confirm payment term acceptance and follow up on urgent payments, ensuring uninterrupted site operations.
• Ensure all financial practices adhere to internal controls, company policies, and established accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements related to project inventory balances, including stock counts and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with the HQ finance team for any requirements necessary for site operations.
• Undertake any other assignments or coordination with third parties to facilitate processes at the site.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in accounting; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship experience in the construction, real estate, or manufacturing industries is considered a plus.

Work Schedule

A firm requirement for this role is the willingness to work 6 days per week (Saturday to Thursday). This schedule is essential to align with project site payment cycles and operational demands.
