Admissions and Progression Officer

About the Role

English Path is seeking an Admissions and Progression Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting students from their initial application through to university progression. The officer will manage the end-to-end admissions process for EP University Pathway programmes, ensuring a positive student experience. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Admissions and Progression Officer will work closely with the EP Riyadh team and the central EP Admissions team. Key responsibilities include guiding students through their progression options, assisting with informed decision-making, and providing support throughout the university application journey, including accommodation and visa applications. While primarily supporting EP Riyadh, the role may also involve working across other EP schools as needed. This position is based fully on-site, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries, provide programme information, and guide agents and students through the application process for EP university preparatory programmes.
• Receive, process, and assess student applications, ensuring all required documentation is present and accurate.
• Make decisions on student admissions under delegation or the Academic Manager.
• Inform applicants of key application milestones and deadlines to support a smooth enrolment process and timely intake participation.
• Stay informed of current visa regulations and assist in preparing and updating visa guidance materials for prospective and enrolled students.
• Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
• Prepare regular reports for management to review intake numbers, applicant progress, and overall admissions performance.
• Provide guidance and support to students on progression opportunities, helping them identify and select appropriate university destinations and programmes.
• Provide guidance on the completion of university applications.
• Support students with visa applications, accommodation arrangements, and related enquiries.
• Liaise with pathway delivery partner and university partner staff as required.
• Assist the Global Head of Admissions with core tasks during peak periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in an administration role within university or pathway college admissions or recruitment.
• Experience with cross-cultural or international business relationships.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience working successfully within a team, with a commitment to teamwork and collaborative working.
• A record of attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Actively seeking and acting upon feedback for professional improvement.
• Skilled use of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience supporting students in applying to study overseas.
• Experience supporting visa applications for overseas study.
• Experience using student management systems, admissions platforms, or CRM systems.
• Work or study experience outside of KSA.

Work Environment

This role is based fully on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring attendance 5 days per week. The officer will work within a collaborative, international environment, supporting students' educational journeys.
