The Role: Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer, Health Information Systems

Solventum is seeking an Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer for Health Information Systems, based in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves collaborating with diverse teams globally to implement healthcare solutions. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Interoperability & Integration Delivery: Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between Solventum solutions and customer healthcare systems. This includes working with customer IT teams, EMR vendors, and third-party providers to define, configure, validate, and troubleshoot interfaces using standards such as HL7, FHIR, and APIs.
• Technical Discovery & Solution Design: Conduct technical discovery to understand customer environments, infrastructure, workflows, and integration needs. Translate these requirements into practical implementation approaches aligned with product capabilities and delivery patterns.
• Solution Configuration & Technical Enablement: Configure Solventum solutions to meet customer-specific operational and clinical requirements. Ensure implementations adhere to best practices while balancing customer expectations, technical constraints, and long-term maintainability.
• Validation, Testing & Go-Live Readiness: Lead technical validation to ensure configured solutions and integrations function as intended. Support testing, defect investigation, issue resolution, and deployment readiness activities for successful customer go-lives and smooth operational transitions.
• Advanced Technical Support & Continuous Improvement: Act as an escalation point for technical issues during and after implementation. Collaborate with customers, support teams, product management, and other Solventum teams to diagnose problems, identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and drive continuous improvement in products and delivery practices. Document implementation knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned, sharing expertise across relevant teams to enhance delivery quality, operational readiness, and customer outcomes.

Work Location and Travel

This is a remote position within Saudi Arabia, specifically supporting operations in Riyadh. The role may involve up to 50% domestic travel.

Solventum has publicly announced its intention to divest its Health Information Systems Business. While no final decision has been made regarding the structure or timing of any potential transaction, and there is no assurance a separation will occur, this position supports the Health Information Systems Business. Any future transaction involving this business would determine the impact on this role, subject to applicable legal requirements, approvals, and business decisions.
