Overview of the Role

Egis is seeking a Saudi National Architectural Inspector to join its site supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves conducting comprehensive inspections of architectural and structural elements to ensure strict compliance with the Saudi Building Code and all relevant construction standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across all construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough on-site inspections of buildings and construction projects to verify compliance with the Saudi Building Code and architectural specifications.
  • Analyze architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation to assess adherence to approved designs and standards.
  • Evaluate building materials, construction methodologies, and structural integrity to ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Document inspection findings, observations, and non-conformances in detailed reports using standardized formats.
  • Identify code violations, safety hazards, and areas of non-compliance, communicating findings effectively to project stakeholders and management.
  • Verify that construction practices align with approved permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to address inspection findings and facilitate corrective actions.
  • Maintain organized records of all inspections, reports, and correspondence for regulatory and project documentation purposes.
  • Stay current with updates to Saudi Arabian building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide professional recommendations for remediation and improvements based on inspection assessments.

Candidate Profile

  • A Saudi National is required for this position.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in architectural inspection or a related field.
  • Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation effectively.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in construction projects.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involving on-site supervision of construction projects.
