Assistant Manager Parts Operations

About the Role

CEER is seeking an Assistant Manager Parts Operations to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for leading and tracking day-to-day parts operations, ensuring high levels of operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The position supports the Senior Manager in executing strategic parts initiatives and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily parts operations and ensure consistent standards are applied across all branches.
• Monitor parts order fulfillment, backorder status, and emergency sourcing to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement in parts handling, storage, and distribution processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all parts transactions, including receipts, invoicing, and returns.
• Supervise and support branch parts teams and coordinators to ensure uniform operational practices.
• Lead and develop parts teams across multiple branches, ensuring consistent performance standards and clear accountability.
• Manage inventory levels across all locations to ensure maximum parts availability while controlling excess stock.
• Analyze sales trends, vehicle parc data, and seasonal demand to optimize stocking strategies.
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely procurement and competitive rates.
• Track and report key performance indicators including parts fill rate, inventory turnover, backorder rate, and branch compliance.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management highlighting achievements, risks, and recommendations.
• Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with CEER’s ERP & RMS (Retail Management System) procedures and company policies.
• Ensure a high standard of parts service to internal customers (service, bodyshop, sales) and external customers.
• Resolve escalated parts-related complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience overseeing multiple locations or branches is strongly preferred.

Operational Focus

This role oversees central parts operations and supervises parts activities and parts teams across all branches. It requires maintaining tight alignment with procurement, service, and sales functions to guarantee smooth processes, optimal inventory levels, and maximum parts availability. The Assistant Manager will also assist in approving branch operational plans, staffing needs, and escalations.

Supplier and System Coordination

The role involves monitoring supplier performance, lead times, and fill rates, escalating issues as needed, and supporting negotiation of pricing agreements and supply terms in coordination with management. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will maintain accurate parts catalogs, pricing, and system data across all locations, and support system updates, process roll-outs, and new initiative implementations.
