Role Overview

The Assistant Manager - Tax will support the tax department in managing tax compliance, planning, and reporting. This full-time role involves ensuring adherence to all tax laws and regulations while optimizing the organization's tax position. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities while adhering to legal requirements.
• Conduct research on tax legislation and interpret its implications for the organization.
• Assist in managing relationships with external tax advisors and act as a liaison with tax authorities.
• Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits related to tax matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business operations and decisions.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and recommend adjustments to policies and practices as necessary.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on tax compliance and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a tax-related role.
• Demonstrated understanding of tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
• Ability to research and interpret tax legislation.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic finance team at Qiddiya Investment Company.
