Qiddiya is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its dynamic legal team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in the vibrant capital, offering an opportunity to contribute to a significant development project.

The Role: Associate General Counsel Regulatory and Employee Advisory

As the Associate General Counsel Regulatory and Employee Advisory, you will provide expert legal guidance on regulatory compliance and employment matters. This position ensures that Qiddiya operates within the framework of applicable laws and adheres to best practices in human resources, supporting the company's operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on labor laws, employment regulations, and regulatory requirements impacting company operations.
• Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international labor laws.
• Support management in resolving complex employee relations issues, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
• Monitor legal developments in labor and employment law and assess their potential impact on the company.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to manage legal risks effectively across all employee lifecycle processes.
• Represent the company in regulatory matters related to employment and liaise with governmental authorities as required.
• Conduct training and workshops for management and employees to enhance awareness of regulatory compliance and employment best practices.
• Mentor junior legal staff and foster a culture of legal excellence within the team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Legal qualification with admission to practice law.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience specializing in regulatory and employment law, preferably gained in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and regulatory compliance in relevant jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and regulatory compliance issues.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills in employment and regulatory matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring and guiding junior legal team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
