About the Role

El-Ajou Group Trading is seeking an AV Site Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing on-site Audio Visual (AV) installations and service delivery, acting as the primary technical and client contact. The supervisor will ensure work adheres to quality, safety, and SLA standards, while also providing hands-on support for complex AV troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of AV technicians and installation teams on assigned sites and projects.
Plan and allocate manpower, tools, and materials to meet project and service schedules.
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, and consultants during installation, commissioning, and service visits.
Review and approve technicians' work quality, installation standards, and documentation before customer handover.
Monitor site progress against project timelines and escalate delays, risks, or resource gaps to management.
Enforce company safety, quality, and technical standards on site, including conducting toolbox talks and routine safety checks.
Mentor, train, and evaluate the performance of AV technicians, providing on-the-job coaching.
Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, and Supply Chain to resolve site-level material, access, or scheduling issues.
Prepare and submit site progress reports, punch lists, and completion/handover documentation to management.
Act as the first-level escalation point for on-site technical issues before engaging OEM/manufacturer support.

Technical Delivery and Support

Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain AV systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair a range of AV equipment, including projectors, professional displays, LED/LCD screens, video walls, interactive displays, audio systems, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, control systems, and conferencing solutions.
Support AV solutions for meeting rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and digital signage.
Configure and troubleshoot signal distribution and connectivity, including HDMI, HDBaseT, IP-based AV, audio/video switching, and network-connected AV devices.
Provide technical support for video conferencing and collaboration systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to service requirements and SLAs.
Conduct site surveys and support the preparation of technical requirements and solution designs.
Coordinate with manufacturers/OEM technical support for complex escalations.
Maintain accurate records of installed equipment, serial numbers, configurations, and service history.
Provide customer training and basic operational guidance after installation.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Audio Visual systems installation, maintenance, and supervision.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate technical teams on site.
Strong technical proficiency in AV system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Experience with various AV technologies and signal distribution methods.
Commitment to maintaining high levels of first-fix performance, response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
