About the Role

EWAA Hotels is seeking a Banquet & Events Sales Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for driving sales and revenue for banquet halls and event spaces by developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and coordinating event requirements. The specialist will promote banquet and event services, prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and collaborate with various internal teams to ensure successful event execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and respond to all banquet hall and event booking inquiries received via phone, WhatsApp, social media, walk-ins, and other channels.
Promote and sell banquet halls, event spaces, packages, and related services.
Conduct professional hall tours and site visits for prospective clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable hall options, packages, and event setups.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and packages tailored to customer needs.
Follow up with prospective clients to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Handle negotiations and close sales within approved pricing and company policies.
Manage the complete reservation process from initial inquiry to booking confirmation.
Maintain accurate and updated records of hall availability, reservations, tentative bookings, confirmed bookings, and cancellations.
Follow up on deposits and payments required to secure bookings.
Coordinate with Banquet, Operations, F&B, Finance, and other departments to ensure all client requirements are properly arranged.
Develop relationships with wedding planners, event organizers, corporate clients, agencies, and repeat customers.
Identify new business opportunities to increase hall bookings and revenue.
Monitor competitors, market pricing, packages, and promotional activities.
Achieve monthly and annual hall sales and booking targets.
Prepare daily and monthly reports covering inquiries, bookings, conversion rates, cancellations, and revenue.
Maintain excellent customer service throughout the entire booking and event process.
Follow up after events to obtain customer feedback and generate repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
2–4 years of relevant experience in Banquet Sales, Events Sales, Hall Sales, Venue Sales, or Hall Reservations.
Proven experience specifically in selling and booking banquet halls or event venues.
Strong knowledge of the Riyadh events, weddings, and corporate functions market.

Required Skills

Excellent sales, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills.

Professional appearance and excellent presentation skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM/reservation systems.
