Barista (Saudi Only)

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Barista (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, responsible for preparing and serving beverages according to established standards, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and using precise measuring systems.
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles as required.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and all related tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, transporting them to the bar set-up area.
• Wash soiled glassware and remove soiled wares from bar tops and tables, placing them in designated areas.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for supplies.
• Process all payment methods accurately.
• Count the bank at the end of the shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete all closing duties as per operational procedures.

Operational and Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
