Role Overview

Dar is seeking a Bridge Inspector to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves inspecting and monitoring bridge and structural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. The position focuses on quality assurance, safety compliance, and the proper execution of construction activities under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect bridge and structural works, including piling, substructure, and superstructure activities.
• Monitor reinforcement works, formwork, concrete casting, and curing processes.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections and report any non-conformance issues.
• Verify materials delivered to site, ensuring they meet approved standards.
• Witness tests related to concrete, materials, and structural elements.
• Ensure proper implementation of traffic safety and work zone safety where applicable.
• Coordinate with the contractor and site engineers to resolve minor site issues.
• Maintain records of inspections, site activities, and quality reports.
• Report progress, issues, and observations to the supervising engineer.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in bridge and structural inspection.
• Demonstrated understanding of approved drawings, specifications, and applicable construction standards.
• Ability to conduct thorough site inspections and identify non-conformance issues.
• Experience with material verification and witnessing tests for concrete and structural elements.
