About Arla Foods and the Role

Arla Foods is seeking a highly driven Business Analyst to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to enhancing business efficiency and supporting the company's strategic objectives within Commercial Operations and Digital Transformation.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Business Analyst will translate business needs into data-driven insights, standardized processes, and scalable digital solutions. This position focuses on strengthening Sales Force Automation (SFA) utilization, commercial Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) governance, and the implementation and governance of promotion and pricing strategies. A key objective is to streamline data insights and performance visibility dashboards, enabling leadership to make faster and more accurate decisions. The role also involves utilizing monthly reports to identify areas for improvement and presenting solutions to stakeholders, ultimately facilitating and streamlining ways of working to increase company performance and empower various functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pricing analysis, draft and govern Standard Operating Procedures, and develop Business Requirement Documentation.
• Analyze standard processes to identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Build Power BI reports and dashboards to increase visibility on performance and Return on Investment (ROI) insights.
• Maintain, test, and improve business and systems operations.
• Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities across various work streams.
• Evaluate the performance of project teams to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
• Act as a liaison between business units and both local and global IT teams.
• Migrate and maintain all reporting from Excel to Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Serve as a Business Intelligence super user and plan all future business upgrades and improvements.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working cross-functionally with departments such as sales, supply chain, operations, finance, and marketing.
• Proficiency in analyzing mass data and summarizing overall information, including customer sell-out data and company sell-in data.
• Understanding of the sales cycle, from forecasting to sales, delivery, and collection.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities to identify business areas in need of improvement and present effective solutions. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently. The Business Analyst should be adept at identifying methods to improve Business-As-Usual operations and tracking, while also empowering all functions within different work streams.
