About the Channel Development Internship

Unilever Arabia is seeking a Channel Development Executive – Wholesale (Intern) to join our team in Riyadh. This internship is focused on driving business growth within the HORECA channel across Saudi Arabia by expanding partnerships with wholesalers and increasing product penetration.

Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the expansion of market coverage and the acquisition of new wholesale accounts. The intern will play a direct part in supporting the growth strategy for the HORECA sector, working to enhance product availability and distribution within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and onboard new wholesalers serving the HORECA channel to expand market coverage and unlock new business opportunities.
• Increase product penetration within existing wholesalers by introducing new SKUs.
• Ensure availability and distribution of priority products across all assigned accounts, supporting the implementation of channel strategies and promotional initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers and key stakeholders, acting as the main contact for day-to-day business needs and opportunities.
• Monitor sales, distribution, and KPI performance for assigned accounts, identifying gaps and taking corrective actions to deliver targets.
• Track competitor activities, pricing, and customer trends in the HORECA sector, providing actionable insights to improve business performance.
