Role Overview

As a Chef Tourant, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and culinary output of a designated kitchen station. This role involves working closely with the Head Chef to ensure excellence in food preparation, consistency in quality, and adherence to presentation standards across all dishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes precisely according to the designated station's recipes and specifications.
• Ensure consistent food quality and uphold high standards for dish presentation.
• Assist the Head Chef in the development of new dishes and contribute to menu planning initiatives.
• Supervise and provide effective training to junior kitchen staff members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area at all times.
• Monitor and manage food inventory specific to your station to minimize waste and ensure availability.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, specifically in a Chef Tourant or similar supervisory culinary role.
• Demonstrated expertise in various cooking techniques and station management.
• Proven ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Experience in staff supervision and training.
