Duncan & Ross is seeking a dedicated Civil 3D Modeler – Wet Utilities to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for supporting major infrastructure and mega projects across the region, specifically focusing on road and utility developments. The role involves developing, updating, and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for various wet utility networks, ensuring compliance with project BIM standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for wet utility systems, including stormwater, sewer, potable water, irrigation, and drainage, utilizing Civil 3D and related BIM software.
• Prepare comprehensive utility layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Create and maintain coordinated BIM models in strict accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and essential construction documentation directly from BIM models.
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including roads, structures, and dry utilities disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and support model coordination processes using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Ensure all models comply with project specifications, relevant standards, and local authority requirements.
• Extract quantities and support quantity take-offs from BIM models for project estimation.
• Maintain accurate records of issued drawings, models, Requests for Information (RFIs), and coordination reports.
• Support construction and engineering teams with timely model updates and revisions.
• Adhere to company QHSE policies and BIM/VDC standards throughout all project execution phases.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modeling specifically for infrastructure projects.
• Strong practical experience in wet utilities modeling, encompassing sewer, stormwater, drainage, water supply, and irrigation networks.
• Mandatory proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Demonstrated experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and established BIM coordination workflows.
• A solid understanding of infrastructure standards and best practices in utility coordination.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or mega projects is preferred.
