CIVIL ENGINEER

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading all civil, structural, and architectural activities related to the restoration of facility buildings and hangars. The Civil Engineer will ensure that affected structures and finishes are properly assessed, safely repaired, and handed over in accordance with approved designs, applicable codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review structural assessments, concrete test results, and consultant recommendations.
• Review contractor method statements, risk assessments, and temporary works designs.
• Develop the civil and architectural technical input for scopes of work, tender documents, and bills of quantities.
• Perform technical evaluations of bidder and contractor proposals.
• Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
• Supervise the repair, strengthening, or replacement of affected structural elements.
• Oversee roofing, façades, partitions, ceilings, flooring, finishes, and fire-rated assemblies.
• Verify and approve as-built drawings, inspection records, and handover documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience in structural and building restoration or construction projects.
• Technical knowledge of structural repair and strengthening methods, concrete testing and inspection, engineered temporary works, and shoring.
• Knowledge of architectural finishes and fire-rated systems.
