The Role of Civil Engineer

FTG Development is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its project teams in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers opportunities in both Riyadh and/or Dammam. The Civil Engineer will work on landmark mixed-use and hospitality developments alongside experienced international engineers, consultants, and contractors, gaining structured on-site exposure and responsibility that grows with progress.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day supervision of construction works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals; raise and track technical queries with consultants and contractors.
Carry out site inspections and prepare inspection requests, site reports, and progress records.
Support quantity take-offs, progress measurement, and verification of contractor payment applications.
Track project schedules and report delays, risks, and variations to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with design, procurement, QS, and HSE teams to resolve interface issues.
Ensure works comply with the Saudi Building Code, municipality requirements, and project HSE standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and as-built information.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant civil engineering role. Applications are welcomed from both early-career engineers and recent graduates who demonstrate strong site potential and a commitment to professional development within the field.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh and/or Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on-site as part of project teams, collaborating with a diverse group of international engineers, consultants, and contractors on significant development projects.
