About the Cloud Security Transformation Manager Role

Accenture Middle East is seeking a full-time Cloud Security Transformation Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing robust cloud security strategies for leading businesses, governments, and organizations. We help businesses understand their risks, build resilience, and leverage advanced technologies and proven risk management models to mitigate threats effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the organization’s cloud security strategy, roadmap, and target state architecture.
  • Design security reference architectures for AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Establish cloud security standards, policies, and guardrails aligned with business risk appetite.
  • Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for cloud initiatives.
  • Translate regulatory and compliance requirements (*, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI) into practical cloud controls.
  • Partner with cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive Zero Trust, identity-first security, and least-privilege access models in the cloud.
  • Define security requirements for cloud-native services, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
  • Evaluate and select cloud security tools, including CSPM, CNAPP, CIEM, CWPP, and SIEM integrations.
  • Provide executive-level guidance on cloud risk, security posture, and investment priorities.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex cloud security design and risk decisions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in information security, with strong hands-on cloud security expertise.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with multi-cloud experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing cloud security architectures, beyond merely operating tools.
  • Experience mapping security controls to industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, encryption, key management, and logging within cloud environments.
  • Solid grasp of DevSecOps principles, infrastructure as code (*, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM), and CI/CD security practices.

Professional Attributes

  • Ability to communicate complex risk scenarios and technical tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
