About the Role

FLC is seeking a CNC Designer specializing in Stainless Steel Kitchen Equipment to join our team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for a professional with 0-1 years of experience who possesses strong expertise in SolidWorks.

Role Overview

The CNC Designer will be responsible for the design and development of high-quality stainless steel commercial kitchen equipment. This involves translating customer requirements into production-ready manufacturing drawings, optimizing designs for efficient fabrication, and generating precise CNC-ready files, all while ensuring adherence to food service industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design commercial kitchen equipment utilizing SolidWorks, including Sheet Metal, Weldments, Assemblies, and Drawings.
• Create comprehensive manufacturing drawings detailing dimensions, tolerances, weld symbols, and material specifications.
• Develop sheet metal flat patterns and optimize designs for various fabrication processes such as laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding, and assembly.
• Generate CNC production files (DXF/DWG) for laser cutting and other CNC machinery.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and essential fabrication documentation.
• Collaborate with production, project engineers, and sales teams to ensure design manufacturability.
• Design custom stainless steel equipment based on specific customer layouts and project requirements.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing products to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance production efficiency.
• Verify that all designs comply with relevant food safety, hygiene, and fabrication standards.
• Provide support for prototype development and assist in resolving production-related issues.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and manage revision control effectively.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in SolidWorks, specifically in Sheet Metal, Weldments, Assemblies, and Drawings.
• 0-1 years of experience in a similar design role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a team focused on innovative kitchen equipment solutions.
