Compliance Analyst

About the Role

stc is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience and focuses on supporting compliance activities within the Carrier & Wholesale Unit (C&W).

Role Purpose

The Compliance Analyst acts as a coordination point between the Carrier & Wholesale Unit and Corporate Regulatory & Compliance functions. This role supports the assessment, monitoring, tracking, and reporting of compliance requirements and findings, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and internal/external compliance standards. The analyst will also coordinate with stakeholders to address identified compliance gaps in a timely manner, operating in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stc Corporate Regulatory & Compliance functions and C&W stakeholders on internal and external compliance requirements.
• Support regular reporting of C&W compliance activities, findings, and non-compliance issues related to laws, regulations, policies, and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Ethics & Compliance to provide inputs, information, and reports for the annual compliance plan and assessment activities for C&W.
• Support the identification of compliance gaps and coordinate with relevant owners to develop corrective actions and mitigation plans for policies, procedures, processes, frameworks, and systems.
• Log, maintain, monitor, and track reported compliance findings, following up with owners to ensure timely closure.
• Prepare periodic compliance status reports and escalate overdue or significant compliance matters to management and relevant functions.
• Coordinate requirements and regulations from Corporate Regulatory & Compliance with concerned departments within C&W.
• Review new compliance requirements and regulations to assess their relevance and applicability to the Carrier & Wholesale Unit.
• Support the review of regulatory requirements and upcoming regulations from a C&W perspective by coordinating with owners and Regulatory Affairs stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and assessment sessions to collect inputs, clarify compliance requirements, and monitor actions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance requirements, assessments, findings, corrective actions, mitigation plans, and closure evidence.
• Support compliance awareness and communication activities across C&W to promote adherence to applicable policies, regulations, and requirements.
