alfanar, a prominent Saudi Arabian company headquartered in Riyadh, operates diverse businesses including construction, manufacturing, and design & development centers across the Middle East and internationally. Its Building Systems division specializes in manufacturing and marketing a variety of construction products, such as ceramic wall and floor tiles, façade cladding, precast concrete products, and interior décor. We are seeking a dedicated Control Room Supervisor I EXA Ceramics to join our team in Riyadh on a full-time basis.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and oversee the comprehensive operations of the security control room. This includes ensuring effective monitoring, swift incident response, and seamless coordination of security personnel to uphold safety standards and protect company assets within the EXA Ceramics division.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise daily control room operations, ensuring continuous and effective functioning of all security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
• Oversee real-time monitoring of all secured premises and sensitive areas, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses to security alerts, incidents, or potential breaches.
• Coordinate security response teams during emergencies and critical situations, ensuring accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of all incidents and actions taken.
• Act as the primary communication link between control room staff, security personnel, management, and external emergency services, ensuring clear information flow during routine and emergency situations.
• Ensure all control room activities strictly adhere to company security policies, procedures, and applicable local regulations, identifying and reporting any non-compliance or security risks.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports on control room operations, incidents, and performance, maintaining well-organized records for audits and reviews.

Leadership and Operational Excellence

• Lead and develop control room operators by assigning duties, supervising performance, and providing guidance, coaching, and training on security procedures and protocols.
• Take full responsibility for operational deliverables, proactively anticipating and preventing problems, and making timely and proper decisions.
• Ensure timely delivery of required results with high quality and cost efficiency, consistently striving to exceed business expectations.
• Contribute to business planning by transforming corporate goals into actionable plans, monitoring performance, and initiating corrective actions.
• Drive business process improvements through developing well-defined systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities, and promoting the full use of IT solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering or any relevant field.
• A minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive work experience in a related control room or security operations role.
