About the Role

Auxo Talent is seeking a Controls & Governance Consultant Cards for a direct client, a globally recognized leader in the payments and financial technology industry. This contract role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on establishing and maintaining robust operational oversight, process governance, and compliance excellence specifically within card-related business activities.

Role Purpose and Impact

As a key control function, the consultant will play a critical role in ensuring that all processes, documentation, vendor deliverables, and customer-facing information remain accurate, fully compliant with relevant regulations, and consistently aligned with established business standards. This position is central to mitigating risks and upholding operational integrity across the client's card product and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion governance standards and strengthen operational controls across all card products and services.
  • Review vendor and partner deliverables to ensure strict adherence to contractual, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Track agreements and key milestones, ensuring timely renewals and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Validate the accuracy of customer communications, sales scripts, digital channels, and product information.
  • Maintain and enhance operating procedures, governance documentation, and process controls.
  • Conduct quality reviews of contracts, business proposals, and marketing materials prior to leadership approval.
  • Partner with business, operations, and external stakeholders to identify and address control gaps, driving effective corrective actions.
  • Support senior leadership with governance reporting, oversight activities, and various risk management initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience in governance, controls, compliance, risk management, or operational oversight.
  • Strong professional background in financial services, banking, payments, or card products.
  • Proven ability to review and analyze contracts, policies, reports, and various business documentation.
